School Bus Assignments

If a parent or guardian wishes for his or her child to ride a bus other than the one the child has been assigned, the child must have a signed note from the parent/guardian requesting the change when he/she boards the school bus.

This procedure must be followed whether the parent/guardian wishes for the child to ride a different bus in the morning or in the afternoon.  If the child is boarding a different bus in the morning, he/she must give the signed note to the bus driver.  If he/she is riding a different bus in the afternoon, the signed note must be given to the school secretary by 9:00 a.m.

In order to protect each child’s safety, telephone calls to change a child’s assigned bus will not be accepted.  In an emergency, a signed note can be faxed to the school office.  The fax numbers are:
