We are thrilled to share that King and Queen Elementary School's Field Day was a huge success! Our students had a blast participating in various activities and games, and our Field Day Committee did an amazing job organizing the event. It was wonderful to see our students' teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day. Special thanks to Central's National Honor Society!

A fun time was had by all at last night's Lego Night. Families were able to share their creative Lego designs with one another. Thanks to the KQES team members who volunteered their time to make sure our event was a success.

King and Queen Elementary Parents and Guardians. Due to a power outage at the school, students will be dismissed today at 12:30 p.m. Buses will run their normal afternoon routes at 12:30 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience. Again, dismissal for King and Queen Elementary School will take place at 12:30 p.m. today, Thursday, March 30th.

It's not too late to RSVP for King and Queen Elementary's 2nd Annual Lego Night. RSVPs are due Wednesday, March 29th. Your family will be able to select a challenge and build it. Families will vote on their favorites and prizes will be awarded. Snacks will also be provided.
Mrs. Doan's 4th grade class enjoyed a visit from The Virginia Institute of Marine Science. Students asked great questions and learned many interesting facts about marine life.
This is a community announcement for the entire King and Queen Community. Poroporone Baptist Church is hosting their first grocery and bagged lunch giveaway this Saturday, March 18th from noon to 2 pm.
