👨👩👧👦 Last night's family event at KQES was a huge success! Students had a blast watching a fun puppet show, dancing, singing, and enjoying delicious snacks. 🎭🎶🍿Special thanks to Rainbow Puppets, Ms. Holmes and Mrs. Johnson as well as the other team members that volunteered their time.
🎨 Families also took home craft materials for students to create their very own puppets! 🎈✂️ Don't miss out on the next event, on March 20th.

Special thanks to CHS' National Honor Society for promoting the love of reading to the students of King and Queen Elementary. Our students enjoyed spending time with the "big kids".

Hello KQES Families: At 11:20 in conjunction with the King and Queen County Sheriff's Department, Central High School had a lockdown to allow the police dogs to do a random search of the facility. Because of that lockdown, King and Queen Elementary School went into a soft lockdown. During the soft lockdown, the lockdown alarm in our building was sounded. This was a false alarm. This false alarm lasted momentarily. All staff and students followed the required protocols. As always, the safety of students and staff are top priority.

The faculty and staff of King and Queen Elementary School would like to thank Pastor Jeff Poythress and the wonderful members of Broadus Church, for the incredible and yummy cake! What a delightful treat!

Good afternoon. This is a reminder that King and Queen County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, March fifth.
