King and Queen Elementary students enjoyed today's Career Day. Special thanks to all of the community members, companies and services that made today such a success. An extra special thanks is extended to Ms. Holmes, School Counselor, for organizing this event.

What a great time had by all at KQE's Family Art Night! Families enjoyed a meal together, made masks and painted paw prints. Thanks to everyone that participated and a special thanks to our staff volunteers. We are looking forward to our next event!

KQES PK4 students planted a pinwheel garden in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pinwheels symbolize a happy, healthy childhood. The Pinwheel garden can remind us of the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.

King and Queen Elementary School's Family Art Night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 13th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

KQES students in grades 3-6 used over 300 yards of duct tape to tape Principal Harvey to a wall. This was a little incentive for students after working so hard on their benchmark tests.

Due to forecasted weather, King and Queen County Public Schools will be closing at 1:30 today.
It's GREEN ZONE time!!!! Congratulations to this month's Green Zone recipients. Teachers recognized students for their hard work, role model behaviors, and citizenship. Way to go Tigers! Your KQES family is beaming with Tiger Pride.
